The Legend of Frank Plankton (Part the First)
Here at Buckleyworks, we love a good story, whether it's 100% true or not. Some of the better ones seem to be a careful blend of truth and what we wished was true. So with no further adieu, here's the beginning of one we heard recently involving the initial creation of our HandPlank division:
"A few years back, just down the coast from your town,
there was talk around Beatnik Beach regarding some sort of dune dwelling denizen,
who built his own driftwood shanty-shack
outta' the wood that ebbed and flowed it's way onto that particular piece of coast,
where said seaside squatter happened to let his toes dig into the sand
and feel as rooted as one can be.
Frank Plankton as he later came to be known,
rarely ventured into town;
preferring to make his way between the dunes and the ocean;
beachcombing, looking for supplies, fishing for dinner,
and foraging for whatever might be good stuff to turn into something else."
...and this I hope will become our motto, if you will:
Good stuff turned into something else.
